If I am trying to lose weight, can I still eat cashew nuts?

I understand that nuts, especially cashews, are considered high-fat foods. Will eating cashew nuts affect my weight loss progress?

Cashew nuts are a very calorie-dense food source and are particularly high in fat. That being said, if you monitor and limit how many cashews you eat, your weight loss progress should not be affected.

I would recommend that you eat almonds instead. Just make sure to count how many you eat and include them in your daily macros or calories.

I eat them all the time and have still lost weight. Each cashew nut is around 10 calories, so I keep my servings around 10 nuts for a snack.
