I find that the easiest way to lose weight is to plan ahead. I count my macros and prepare my meals ahead of time so that there are no excuses for me not to hit my macros.

My advice would be to eat to fuel your body. Food should never be anything other than fuel. Eat whole, unprocessed foods. Cut out sugar and processed foods. If possible, cut out dairy and gluten too.

Studies have shown that dieting and restrictive behavior create unhealthy obsessions over foods that we are "not allowed" to eat, often leading to disordered eating and body dysmorphia.

It is for this reason that I decided to give up dieting and try intuitive eating. I eat when I am hungry and stop when I am full. I eat whatever I feel like having, but in moderation. There are no "good and bad" foods and nothing is off-limits.

Since changing my lifestyle to intuitive eating, I have found it very easy to lose weight!

In order for your weight loss journey to be sustainable, you need to enjoy the food that you eat. I try to make low-calorie and healthier versions of all of my favorite foods. That way, I don't feel like I am restricting myself and don't feel the need to "cheat" on my diet.
