Tennis elbow usually heals on its own, but various treatments can be implemented to speed up the process, such as:

  • Applying ice to the elbow regularly to reduce swelling and pain.
  • Making use of an elbow strap to limit motion and protect the tendons from further use and injury.
  • Taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications, such as Ibuprofen or Aspirin to help reduce pain and swelling.
  • Performing range of motion exercises to prevent stiffness and increase flexibility in the elbow.
  • Visiting a physical therapist to aid in rehabilitation and strengthening of the tendons and muscles.
